Good idea

Great idea, and for the most part well implemented but good god, fix that sound loop, please. Three drum strikes and a pop of static looping infinitely is quite enough for me to close the game without even finishing a round. If you really want a small file size, you'd be better off without music.

Excellent

Very high quality work. I can't fault the gameplay, really. It was a pleasure to play, and, unlike most flash games, it has enormous replay value.

Being the graphics whore that I am, though, my only complaint is that it could've been prettier. Flash has some awesome effects, you can recreate bloom or hdr with some of the filters, motion blurs are possible, soft shadows, dynamic lighting (all simulated of course). I understand that you were probably making it as bare-bones as possible to make the framerate acceptable with an enormous amount of objects on the screen, but an optional ultra-high-detail mode would've been appreciated by those of us who would prefer to play FEAR at 3 frames per second with graphics on full, rather than have it playable and looking like D00M.

Either way, though.
Excellent.

I'd love to know how you managed to write such an efficient engine (:

):

I made two universes. One of them ate itself and the other didn't get along and decided to piss off in all different directions D:

Good work.

Simple idea, but very well executed. Congratulations.

Thanks!

Still needs improvement

Getting there, but a couple of things need fixing - especially the glow filter of every stroke changing color when you select a new color for one stroke. Also, saving to file /is/ possible. Hell, you could even save a few frames to file, so the user could turn them into a gif and have an animated drawing.

"ITS NOT A BUG, ITS A FEATURE"

Saving to file is impossible to do without an external scripting language. I don't have a server.

Bit blatant there

It's just boomshine without the color 3:

Awesome

I loved the first James game and this one is just as good - keep up the good work!

You didn't really add anything

Near as I can tell, this is the exact engine from the Build A Game Like Linerider tutorial. The only thing that's been added is the ink limit, and that's hardly been done well, considering it's based on the time you hold the mouse down and now how much 'ink' you actually use.

Pfft.

Don't quit my dayjob? Quit it to do what, may I ask? Are you going to pay me to click targets and listen to that same generic sound library noise all day? Even if it was good at it, I'd rather keep my dayjob.

.

Probably quite useful to beginning flashers, but I'd suggest less distracting music.
